Family/Carer Liaison Committee
Our Family/Carer Liaison Committee (FCLC) provides an additional means of feedback to our Management Team and Board and is especially relevant for our participants who can experience challenges with communication.
The FCLC, which is comprised of parents and carers of scosa participants, meets on a monthly basis to provide feedback on programs and services, make suggestions for new initiatives and more generally to provide a voice, particularly on behalf of those participants with more complex needs.
The FCLC is a relatively new initiative and we welcome new committee members who are parents/guardians of people with disabilities that participate in life at scosa.
scosa currently has 10 committee members who are a resource to support all scosa families. Members have been appointed to specific Hubs as the scosa FCLC representative, to assist and support families moving forward to the NDIS.
If you require any assistance in regard to scosa’s services, initiatives or have any questions in regard to the NDIS, the FCLC are here to help you.
