scosa participants shine at sports day!

What a great team spirit we had at scosability for 2017!

scosability is an event that focuses on celebrating the abilities of people living with disabilities, where participants from across our 11 hubs come together each year to enjoy a day full of sporting activities. This year we had a range of activities including volleyball, a soccer kick off, bean bag toss and an exciting handball competition run by the wonderful team from the SANFL.

Sport is a great way for people living with disabilities to be part of an inclusive team while also working on their personal goals. scosability is all about building capacity, encouraging positive mental health and self esteem, as well as enhancing the mobility and motor skills of people living with disabilities.

Our participants had so much fun taking part in each activity and then coming together for a shared BBQ lunch.

A very special thank you to Chappell Builders, EML and The Rotary Club of Regency Park for their assistance on the day.
